Service description

ProSlides is a web application that converts highlighted text from .docx documents into ProPresenter 7 presentation files (.pro files). The service allows you to upload documents, preview and edit extracted slides, and download ready-to-use ProPresenter files.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ProSlides. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. ProSlides uses login links sent to your email address for authentication. You should not share these links with others. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ProSlides for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload documents containing malware, viruses, or other harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to ProSlides systems or other users' accounts.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect data from ProSlides.
• Resell or redistribute the ProSlides service without written permission.

Generated files disclaimer

ProSlides generates .pro files based on the content you provide. We make reasonable efforts to produce accurate output, but we do not guarantee that generated files will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing your slides before presenting them.

ProPresenter non-affiliation

ProSlides is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Renewed Vision or ProPresenter. “ProPresenter” is a trademark of Renewed Vision. ProSlides generates files compatible with ProPresenter 7 but is a separate, third-party service.

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the content of your presentations. ProSlides does not claim ownership of your content. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the service.

The ProSlides name, logo, and application are owned by us. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Billing and payment

ProSlides offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to a read-only state. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation and then permanently deleted.

Service availability

We strive to keep ProSlides available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or experience downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance in advance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProSlides and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. In the event of termination for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund. We may also discontinue the service entirely with 30 days' notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Marion County, Oregon.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of ProSlides after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
